The Hercules Violin/Viola stand features the Auto Grip System (AGS) that protects the instrumentand is compact enough to transport easily. The auto grip system is driven by the weight of the instrument. When the peg box is placed in the yoke, the housing slides down. rotating the arms to secure it. The instrument is released when you lift it up. The stand is sturdy and light weight (aluminium tubes) and can fold compactly for easy carrying (carrying bag included).

It also has a detachable utility holder and a place to rest or secure your bow. Specially formulated rubber foam is used on all contact points between your instrument and the stand.

Fits 1/4, 3/8, 1/2, 3/4, 4/4 violins and 12" - 17" violas.
